Hilary Duff y su matrimonio con Disney +… ¿Roto definitivamente?

Kelsey Peters volverá a la gran pantalla de la mano de Hilary Duff, quien ha decidido centrarse en la vuelta de Youngery un futuro Spin-Off.

Todos pudimos sentir una enorme felicidad cuando al poco tiempo del lanzamiento de Disney+ en España, supimos que Lizzie McGuire volvería con nosotros en una nueva temporada, relatándonos la vida adulta de Lizzie, Miranda y Gordon. Todo parecía ir por buen camino, un gran entendimiento entre la productora y el cast de la serie… pero no ha acabado como se esperaba. Disney+ ha considerado que la “nueva Lizzie” era demasiado adulta y madura para su plataforma al tratar ciertos temas como el sexo, las infidelidades o de más semejantes, propios de una vida experimentada.

¿Por qué ese rechazo de Disney+?

Ellos mismos se describen como una plataforma más destinada hacia el público infantil, cuyos directivos consideran que los primeros capítulos grabados de la serie no apuntaban a una temática acertada para formar parte de la familia Disney+. Por ello se ha decidido parar la producción y grabación de la serie. La propia Hilary Duff ha pedido indirectamente el poder trasladar esta nueva Lizzie a plataformas como Hulu, y en su propio Instagram ha expresado su opinión al respecto, defendiendo el gran proyecto que tenían entre manos:

Vemos como Huluse presenta como la clara favorita para acoger esta Lizzie madura y evitando así una versión edulcorada y poco creíble de su crecimiento como persona, siendo una plataforma que ya ha adaptado y acogido otros títulos de adaptaciones televisivas como Con amor, Simono High Fidelity.
