Julia Medina publica el videoclip de su nuevo single ‘No Me Despedí’ junto a Carmen Boza

La artista publica hoy el videoclip del segundo sencillo de su álbum No Dejo De Bailar. Tras Dime, un ruego desesperado para que su amado no la dejara, apuesta por una canción que habla de liberación.

Julia Medina llevaba ya tiempo sin dar novedades musicales que alentaran a sus seguidores, pero decidió volver por todo lo alto presentando el videoclip de una de las canciones más aclamadas en sus conciertos: No Me Despedí, que comparte con otra artista de sus tierras a la que siempre ha admirado, Carmen Boza.

La triunfita ya había manifestado diversas veces durante su paso por la academia de Operación Triunfo que Carmen Boza era una referentepara ella, así que cuando anunció que su primer disco contaría con la colaboración de Boza, fueron muchos los que lo celebraron como el gol de Iniesta en el Mundial del 2010. La misma Julia no ha querido disimular su emoción por haber colaborado con ella: “Quién me iba a a mí que me iba a encontrar a la mismísima Carmen Boza haciendo autoestop (…). Por supuesto no dudé ni un segundo en parar”.

Videoclip que huele a libertad

En el videoclip, las gaditanas hacen un roadtrip por Cádiz al estilo americano, con coche y vestimenta épica. Una dirección, caminar sola, intención de huir… Diego Villalbay Daniel López, directores del videoclip, han conseguido que la letra y la imagen empasten a la perfección. “La vida baila en libertad”, dice la canción, y el pelo baila al viento mientras recorren camino hacia la liberación. Como dice Carmen Boza, cada frame del vídeo “huele a libertad”.

Puede parecer contraproducente que un single como este salga ahora que estamos encerrados, pero lo cierto  es que consigue teletransportaral espectadora esa misma carretera y sentir que ya no está enjaulado entre cuatro paredes. Y puede que sea lo que necesitamos en estos momentos, sensación de evasión.

No Dejo De Bailar, pop-rock lleno de sensibilidad y honestidad

No Dejo De Bailar, producido por Dani Ruiz(os puede sonar por ser el productor y mano derecha de Marta Soto), es el primer álbum de la artista salida de Operación Triunfo 2018. Además de la colaboración con Carmen Boza, también cuenta con un dueto con Pedro Guerra, con el que decidió colaborar tras haber estado componiendo juntos.

Andrés Suárez, Rozalén, David Santiesteban o Riki Rivera tienen parte de la culpa de que este álbum contenga tanta verdad y emoción, puesto que acompañaron a la gaditana en el proceso de composición y producción de los temas; pero ella ya tenía claro que para llegar a la gente había que transmitir verdad.

Aún así, en una entrevista para La Voz de Cádiz confesó que el disco la había ayudado a tener aún más claro el camino a seguir en el mundo de la música: “No Dejo De Bailar me he convencido aún más de que tengo que ser yo misma y de que sólo si uno hace algo que le gusta de verdad puede llegar a gustar a la gente”.

Su verdad y su voz cálida son lo que la llevó a hacerse con el quinto puesto en el talent show Operación Triunfo y lo que a día de hoy mantiene a sus fans a pie de cañón y esperando a que se reanude la gira que la ha llevado a visitar salas emblemáticas de toda España. Por el momento, habrá que esperar como mínimo hasta septiembre para volver a verla encima de los escenarios.
