‘Dark’ es considerada la mejor serie de Netflix

Según los usuarios del reconocido portal web Rotten Tomatoes, la serie alemana se ha alzado como ganadora con el 80% de los votos.

Así es, la serie de misterio y ciencia ficción ha batido todos los récords en el ranking creado por Rotten Tomatoes, uno de los portales más influyentes de información y crítica de películas, documentales y series de televisión. Aunque Dark ya contaba con un 94% de puntuación media en el Tomatómetro y un 94% de calificación del público, tuvo que enfrentarse a otros títulos muy reconocidos como The Crown, Mindhunter y Peaky Blinders para avanzar a la ronda final del campeonato.

La final se disputó entre Darky Black Mirror, la cual superó por poco a Stranger Things. Teniendo en cuenta el fuerte impacto cultural que ha tenido Black Mirror, uno se podría haber imaginado que sería un fuerte rival para Dark, pero al final, la alemana ganó el partido con un 80% de los votos. Una victoria aplastante.

La serie creada por el director y guionista Baran bo Odar y la productora Jantje Fiese, se estrenó en diciembre de 2017, siendo así la primera serie alemana producida para Netflix. Parte de la misteriosa desaparición de un niño y la búsqueda de él acarrea un rompecabezas muy complejo, con secretos que abarcan a diferentes generaciones.

¿Que la hace especial?

Ha sido reiteradamente comparada con Stranger Things y, lo cierto es que sí que comparten algunas características como desapariciones, el foco de atención en niños y adolescentes, un pueblo pequeño y agobiante, fenómenos paranormales escondidos en un bosque y algún que otro guiño al estilo ochentero. Dark no es ni mejor ni peor, es diferente a todo lo que hayas visto.

Cuenta con su propio universo y sus propias leyes, tiene una historia muy compleja que contar que incluye el concepto viaje en el tiempo. Este es un recurso muy popular en la ciencia ficción pero, a la vez, uno de los más difíciles de reproducir.

Baran bo Odar, el creador, consigue contar la historia con un guion muy cuidado y coherente. En cada capítulo se regala una pista, un rayo de luz que pueda ayudar al espectador a entender la historia dentro de esa oscura y macabra estética, digna de una película de terror.

Aunque, no todo son odas, también existen detractores que no consideran que la serie sea para tanto. Si eres de los que te gusta entenderlo todo capítulo a capítulo o ver una serie sin tener que regalarle toda tu absoluta atención, no es la tuya.
