Celtas Cortos celebra el 30 aniversario de su tema ‘20 de abril’ con una reedición especial

Los beneficios de esta nueva versión, protagonizada por trabajadores esenciales y artistas nacionales, serán destinados a la lucha de Médicos Sin Fronteras contra el Covid-19.

Han pasado ya 30 años desde aquel 20 de abril del 90. La famosa carta convertida en canción por el grupo Certas Coltos está de cumpleaños. Es por eso que los profesionales que están en primera línea de batalla y artistas nacionales se han unido a la banda vallisoletana para celebrar con nostalgia el aniversario de la canción.

El grupo ya tenía pensado celebrar por todo lo alto los 30 años de uno de sus temas más míticos. Pero, debido a la situación actual, se encontraron con que su idea inicial no podía llevarse a cabo. Es por eso que diferentes artistas como Rozalén, Eva Amaral, Zeta de Mago de OZ, Mikel Izal o El Gran Wyoming, entre otros, han contribuido desde sus estudios caseros para sacar la nueva versión adelante.

No solo ellos se llevan el protagonismo. En el vídeo se puede ver a todo tipo de trabajadores esenciales: desde sanitarias, farmacéuticos o policías hasta ganaderos, transportistas o dependientas de supermercados. Todos ellos lanzan el mismo mensaje lleno de fuerza y que da nombre a la campaña lanzada por la banda:no nos podrán parar.

Una iniciativa solidaria

Celtas Cortos no ha querido dejar esto en una simple celebración. Es por eso que han decidido que todo el dinero recaudado gracias a la reedición de 20 de abril será destinado a la Fundación Médicos Sin Fronteras para la lucha contra el Covid19.

Al final del videoclip creado para la ocasión, la banda de folk rock española explica cómo la ciudadanía puede donar. Enviando un simple SMS con el mensaje “NoNosPodranParar” al 228033 o entrando a la página web de Médicos Sin Fronteras se puede aportar un granito de arena a esta causa.

No es la primera vez que este tema de Celtas Cortos impulsa una campaña benéfica. El pasado 2017 consiguieron recaudar el dinero suficiente para rehabilitar la famosa cabaña de Turmo donde transcurren los hechos de la canción. Y, dos años más tarde, la banda pudo reunirse allí para grabar el videoclip de 20 de abril, que, como no podía ser de otra forma, fue publicado en la tan señalada fecha.
